Hope Fortus 26 Pro 5 Rear Wheel Purple 27,5" - 150 mm

Fortus 26 Pro 5 27,5" is the most versatile wheel from Hope . It's optimized for tyres section from 2.25 to 2.50 and is dedicated to Trail and Enduro. It's built around the new 12x150 Pro 5 Hub here in colour Purple wich is available in 6 bolts

Hope Pro 5 hub features a lot of innovations compared to the Pro 4 . First, the sealing has been improved by the addition of an external seal on the left side and by a redesigned labyrinth seal on the drive side that offer zero drag and incredible freewheeling performances. The other innovation is situated in the freehub himself because it's now a 6 pawls design available in 2 versions . The "muscular" version, in aluminium, features an alernative (2x3) pawls contact that offer 108 point of engagement. The "E-Bike" version, made of steel, use a simultaneous 6 pawls contact design with 54 points of engagement and offer an incredible resistance to load. Pawls have been redesigned too in order to decrease drag and increase load capacity. 

Pro 5 rear hub that equip the Fortus 26 wheel allow the installation of the following freehub standard with easy interchangeability : Shimano HG Standard, Sram XD/XDR, and Shimano Microspline

This 12x150 mm version is compatible with 12x157 mm by installing dedicated adapters (sold separately) and is available for 6 bolts disc rotors. It comes with the Alternative 6 pawls design aluminium freehub body that offer 108 points of engagement.
