Fox Racing Shox 38 Grip X2 Cartridge Assembly

The major innovation in Fox fork line lies in the hydraulics, with the introduction of the GRIP X2 damper, born from motocross experience and wich is a true flagship of the brand in terms of adjustability and performance. The GRIP X2 damper  allows the fork to stay higher in its travel and offers a high level of customization for compression and rebound settings. To achieve this, Fox reworked the internal parts of the cartridge, increasing the piston rod diameter from 8 mm to 10 mm, the base valve from 20 mm to 24 mm, and the valve stack from 7 shims in the previous version to 23 shims in this new generation, providing more customization options

Fox Grip X2 Damper upgrade kit fit all Fox 38 forks with the new thread (2015+) . It's the best way to upgrade your fork not spending too much money and access to all Fox technology like high and low speed compression setting, high and low speed rebound setting.
