Fox Racing Shox SLS Spring for rear shock with up to 89 mm (3.5") of travel

The new orange colored FOX Super Light Steel (SLS) springs are exactly that : super light steel springs. They're actually lighter than titanium coils. Using technology developed for highly stressed valve springs in drag racing cars, FOX was able to drastically reduce the weight of the spring. A proprietary surface treatment and stress relief process removes residual stresses from the spring, allowing them to withstand higher stresses. Each spring is optimized by using a smaller wire diameter and less coils, creating a lighter spring.
