Its groundbreaking freehub mechanism disengages the drivetrain from the rear wheel when coasting, and an adjustable deadband filters kickback and chain vibration before it reaches the pedals, virtually eliminating pedal feedback effects on suspension. With the drive mechanism disengaged from the ratchet ring, drag is significantly reduced.
