The Sram EX1 8 speed cassette has been designed as the answer of one of the most biggest problem met by E-bike users, early wear. To solve this problem Sram has reduced cogs number and engineered a new cog design to work with both inner and outer links of the chain, which allows extremely refined shifting for both inboard and outboard shifts. The result is precise and robust shifting performance in any situation, even with full motor support.
