Fidlock

The Fidlock "Vacuum Ahead Cap Base" mount allows you to attach your smartphone (equipped with a Vacuum case or a case with a Vacuum patch) to your stem pivot. This mount consists of a special cap that is screwed onto the steerer tube. The base is then placed on the cap and easily secured using a clamp with a knurled screw, or theft-proof with an Allen screw. The mounting base can thus be quickly removed when the smartphone is not needed, while the cap remains in place on the bike.

The magnetic piece is located on the smartphone, either in the form of a specific VACUUM case or via the universal VACUUM adhesive patch attached to the existing case. This system allows for easy attachment of the phone to the mount and holds it securely in place. The magnetic force automatically centers the smartphone on the mount, ensuring continuous suction and preventing the device from slipping. If forces exceed the attraction of the magnets, the suction cup creates a vacuum to reinforce the hold. The phone is released simply by pressing a lever on the side of the mount.

Thanks to the ingenious combination of magnetic force and vacuum pressure, the smartphone can be operated with one hand and rotated 360°, while a locking mechanism prevents unintended rotation during the ride.
